Loopy for Lupins
Recently, I attended a Diabetes and Heart Health Update hosted by the Dietitians Association of Australia. The day covered many topics from how we can help transform our traditional meat and three veg meals into a mediterranean style diet to reduce cardiovascular risk to FODMAPs and diabetes management. One of the most interesting topics that Read more

Although diagnosed at 19, it feels like I’ve been living with diabetes for far longer. Out of the changes that diabetes has brought into my life, the lifestyle changes have been Read more

Over time, I didn’t realise my stories resonated with others or helped them to learn more about living with diabetes. And so it is the power of sharing stories that keeps me going with this blog.
Initially, I named my blog “Bittersweet Diagnosis” as that is exactly how I feel about my diabetes. Learning to live with a chronic condition as intensive as diabetes has been one of the toughest challenges I’m still navigating. Yet along the way, diabetes has made me grow and develop into a better person, physically and mentally.
